A buyer-friendly guide to room sizes, circulation, light, ventilation, privacy, furniture and practical floor-plan evaluation.
Start with orientation and entry
Understand where the home sits on the floor and how the main entry relates to living areas and private rooms.
Look beyond room labels
A bedroom label does not tell you whether a bed, wardrobe and circulation fit comfortably. Use dimensions and realistic furniture sizes.
Check circulation
Long passages, awkward corners and excessive circulation can consume usable space. Look at how naturally people can move between living, kitchen, bedrooms and toilets.
Study light and ventilation
Identify external openings, shafts, balconies and the relationship between windows and neighbouring structures.
Check privacy and services
Consider sight lines from the entry, toilet locations, kitchen utility, plumbing walls, AC outdoor-unit possibilities and practical storage.
